Lauren Lantry

Associate Producer

Lauren Lantry is an American Studies major at Barnard College of Columbia University, concentrating in Media and Pop Culture post 1950. She is a graduate of Polytechnic High School in Pasadena, and is interested in pursuing a career in film, specifically production. Lauren has always been interested in history, but she has more recently discovered the importance of the relation between history, intersectionality, and oppression. Lauren views FRAMED as the perfect short film to begin her career - not only does it draw upon all of the aspects that she finds to be most important when one critically analyzes one’s past and present, but the film also promotes social change and awareness. Lauren is excited to see the end product of this film, as well as global conversation that it will bring about.
